Fire Triangle
In order to have a fire, three things
are necessary

These three requisites for having a

fire are represented as triangle,
known as the fire triangle. If one side
of the triangle is removed, the
triangle will cease to exist; likewise if
one or more of the three essentials
needed for a fire is removed.

Classes of Fire
CLASS A:
Fires are those that occur to combustible
materials like wood, fabric, paper, etc.

Quick Check

Is It Ready To Use ?
1. Check the gauge. The pressure
indicator should be in the green
zone. (CO2 extinguishers do not
have pressure gauges.)

2. The extinguisher should have a

current inspection tag.

3. The pin and handle should be

secured with a plastic tab seal.

4. The extinguisher and hose should

be free of any visible damage.
In your building, know the
