REGULATION ORDINANCE NO. 2009-036

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 6 OF REGULATION
ORDINANCE NO. 2008-432 ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE CREATING
THE CITY COUNCIL ON THE WELFARE OF DISABLED PERSONS
(CCWPD) AND THE OFFICE OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITY
AFFAIRS (OPDA)

Antonio V. Pesina, Jr., Eduardo L. Pefiaredondo, Lyndon V. Acap
and Nielex C. Tupas

WHEREAS, Section 6 provides that the amount of Two Million five Hundred Nineteen
Thousand Pesos (P2,519,000.00) shall be appropriated for three (3) years project implementation
for basic equipment and accessories for rehabilitation services to be taken from the supplemental
budget as stipulated in the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) entered by KAMPI and the City
Government oflloilo as represented by City Mayor Hon. Jerry P. Trefias;

WHEREAS, due to inadvertence there is a need to amend the aforesaid section in order to
correct the source of fund.

NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the Sangguniang Panlungsod of the City of

Iloilo, that:

Section 1. - Section 6 of regulation Ordinance No. 2008-432, is hereby amended and

shall now read, as follows:

"Section 6. - Funds. The fonds necessary to carry out the provisions of

this ordinance shall be sourced from the 0.5% of the LGU's Annual Budget as
stipulated in Presidential Proclamation 240. the specific amount shall be
indicated in the Comprehensive Work and Financial Plan approved by the
Council and shall be included in the Annual Budget of the year following the
enactment ofthis ordinance and every year thereafter. "

Section 2. - This ordinance shall take effect upon approval.
