It is imperative that as a teacher I take my past experiences and put them to use. With that
said, I do not intend to be the teacher that too many of mine were with a dislike for their
profession. Rather, I will be the teacher who will greet every student as the walk into the door. A
smile is a small gesture that certainly travels far. Furthermore, I will be the teacher that students
trust and come to in a time of need. A decent teacher listens, but a helpful teacher will point the
student in the right direction. Thus, I will be the nurturing teacher who treats all with respect,
happiness, and equality, which in turn will allow the students to feel safe and comfortable.
In the future, I intend to reference back upon this artifact. My philosophy consists of
multiple components that I firmly believe in enforcing as a teacher. With that in mind, in the
future I want to reference back and always remember that I want to be the best teacher that I
