This article is all about the effect of smoking cannabis has on your lungs and if it is

something people should consider when thinking about if they should try medical

marijuana. The article goes on to say how smoking marijuana actually increases lung

capacity and that there has been much research conducted and all research found no ties

between smoking marijuana and an increase in lung cancer.

This will be helpful in my essay when I began to discuss the potential risks of constant

smoking of marijuana has on the body. The fact that there are no connections between

lung cancer and smoking marijuana, will make people feel even better about trying

marijuana for their medical purposes.

This is a very credible source as the author is an MD and he has done research on the

topic as well as backed his findings with stats from other peoples research on the same

topic of marijuana and lung cancer.

 This is a fantastic research article that examines the effect marijuana has on ones ability

to operate a vehicle properly. Through the use of telephone survey data and state driver

history records, a great study was able to come about from this collection of data.

In my paper I can use the information within this article to sate the effects or dangers that

may come about from consuming cannabis while driving. I will be able to utilize the

results from the tests to back that driving while under the influence of marijuana is

dangerous, it is still safer than driving under the influence of alcohol.

This source is somewhat credible because the data came from telephone surveys in which

some people could be lying about it. If these were actual field tests where they had people

smoke weed then attempt to drive and record what happened, then this article would be

more credible.

In this article, a lab test was preformed to see the side-effects that developed in a person

after they had just recently consumed medicinal cannabis. 217 participants were selected

who were mainly all adults with the average age of 41 and were approved by doctors for

medical marijuana.
 This will help me in writing my essay because it will back my beliefs of medical

marijuana being for the better good of society as well as when I talk about how legalizing

marijuana legally is a major development in medicine and could help countless people

get away from toxic medication.

This source is credible because it was an intensive lab study completed with over 200

participants to ensure correctness in the results. With so many statistics and references,

one can confirm that this is a truthful and respected source.

This source talks about how medical marijuana helps people who have muscle spasms

and pain reduce those symptoms significantly. Also, the positive effect cannabis has on

people who are anorexic because consumption of cannabis increases hunger. This article

goes on to discuss how different amounts of cannabis have different effects on the body

as well as the long-term effects one can expect to see from marijuana usage.

In my paper, I will be able to use this article when talking about the long-term effects that

marijuana can have on someone. Another way I will be able to incorporate this article

into my essay is when I talk about the different variations of medicinal cannabis there is

out there and their different effects they can have as well as what implications cannabis

can have to the pediatric world.

 This article is credible as it goes into extreme depth when describing the various strands

of marijuana, different effects marijuana can have on a person, and also the implications

on psychiatric and pediatric patients. Backed up by a wide range of statistics and charts,

this article seems to be quite reliable.

In this article the main topic of discussion is whether or not legalizing cannabis will

increase the use of marijuana amongst teens. At the Rhode Island Hospital they

conducted a study using data that extends back twenty years in order to see if there was

any correlation between the legalization of medical cannabis and recreational use

amongst teens.

When writing my paper this article will come in handy when I begin to talk about the

effect legalizing marijuana medically will have the rest of the population. This article

shows a good stance on the long-term effects marijuana can have as well as how it relates

to the younger population as they grow up. With good statistics instilled within the

article, I will be able to back up my stances positively.

 Due to this article being a study done by a doctor and the research taking place within a

hospital, I would have to say this particular article is in fact a credible source. With

specific real-life situations of teenagers, and adults and their usage of marijuana being

discussed, it only adds to the level of credibility within this article.

Again this is another article that goes into detail of the positive effects medical marijuana

has on people with a health problem. This particular article is about how medicinal

cannabis helps people cope with HIV. Due to HIV causing people experience pain and to

lose their appetite, this article talks about how medical marijuana helps reduce those

symptoms of HIV.

This article will only help in solidifying my stance on that marijuana should be legal

medicinally with all the information on how it helps people with HIV. HIV is one of the

worst diseases to have so the fact that this article confirms marijuana helps people, will

only help strengthen my essay.

This source is certainly credible as is was created by a person who is an official medical

doctor and tests were completed on people with HIV and then the results were recorded

in the article to validate everything being talked about.

This article about the great benefits that come from cannabis for people who are currently

going through intensive cancer treatment. The article discusses how marijuana helps

combat anorexia, chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting, pain, insomnia, and

depression. Also, how marijuana is healthier for the body rather than other antiemetics on

the market.

When writing my essay I will be able to use this article as I talk about the positive effect

cannabis can have on people who suffer from cancer. I can say how helpful medical

marijuana will be in reducing the harsh side-effects of chemotherapy and other cancer

treatments.

This is a credible source as it come from a cancer journal and the article goes into great

depth on how cannabis effects each aspect of the symptoms one would develop from

receiving cancer treatment such as nausea, pain, and appetite loss.

 This article is about how some physicians are weary of prescribing medical marijuana to

patients based off limited knowledge on cannabis but it is however safer than other

common drugs that patients would normally be described.

This will be useful in my essay when I discuss medical marijuana from a doctors point

of view and how they view whether cannabis should be legalized for medicinal purposes

or not.

This is again a credible source as it comes from an author who is an MD with a PhD and

he goes into such detail on pros and cons of marijuana so he isnt just giving a one sided

view on cannabis.

This article is based off a laboratory study that occurred in which patients with

Parkinsons Disease were given cannabis and then closely monitored afterward to track

the effects. This experiment showed that overall, cannabis consumption had a great effect

on the patients as it was able to significantly reduce tremors, bradykinesia, and rigidity as

well as improving the ability for the patients to sleep. This article is an informative piece

that shows how medical marijuana does more good rather than harm.
 Throughout my essay I will be able to use the specific stats from this article in order to

back up my position on how I think medical marijuana should be legal. Also, due to this

being an actual lab test and it saying how cannabis is safe, it might be able to give people

who suffer from Parkinsons a new perspective on marijuana. With this new perspective

people could become inclined to trying it and seeing how it helps them cope with their

disease theyre currently suffering from.

This source is incredibly credible as its based off laboratory studies done by doctors with

the results and data from the tests specifically outlined in the article. At the end of the

article it then goes into a lengthy discussion on the tests that were done and what

observations were noted during the experiment. The massive list of references at the very

end of the article just adds to the reliability of the article making it all the more credible.

Throughout the duration of this article it speaks about the process and steps required in

order to make marijuana become legal either recreationally or medicinally. The article

also goes into an in depth discussion on the taxes that should or should not be applied

once cannabis becomes legal.

As I write my essay this article will certainly be useful as I will be able to incorporate just

how the legalization of marijuana happens. I can break it down for the readers so they

will be able to better understand the process of bringing up the idea for legalization, to

the voting stage, and finally to the last stage of legalization.

This is a credible source because it talks about the legal process that cannabis must go

through in order to become legal. It then uses statistics from other votes on marijuana to

provide examples of other situations where the cannabis law was successfully passed.
