Session Description The presentations will discuss contemporary efforts to adapt


conventional ethics mechanisms to rapidly emerging technological
innovations in health research. Discussions will seek to answer whether
such mechanisms have been able to cope with the requirement (1) to
protect human subjects and (2) to advance the frontiers of health
innovation equitably
