The rate of dementia is declining which are believed to be due to factors such as good

cardivasucalr health and having an education. Dementia rates were compared between the

two years 2000 and 2012. It was believed that with baby boomers, Alzheimers and

dementia rates would increase by 2050, but instead it has decreased to chances in certain

health factors over generations. This source was useful by providing statistics on the

decrease of dementia and gave factual information about dementia.

The chances of people who have at least a high school education of having dementia is

declining significantly. Living a healthy lifestyle and taking measures to improve overall

health has helped prevent the decline in cognitive function. Researchers studied the

cognitive status of 5,025 people over the age of 60 in four time periods beginning in

1977. They discovered a decline of approximately 20 percent of dementia cases each

the effects of dementia, it provides other informal information related to it.
