Dear Hiring Manager,

I would like to start by thanking you for your time and attention in reading my letter and
considering me as a potential candidate for a Chemical Engineer at the Rocket Launch Facility in
Vandenberg, California. It has been a dream of mine to work for SpaceX for a very long time and
I know that working for SpaceX would not only be great for me, but I would ensure it will be
great fit for SpaceX as well.

I am great at working with others, completing projects thoroughly, and communicating

effectively. I am always looking for solutions to problems with an open mind; I am both creative
and good at troubleshooting. I also hope that I will be able to learn much more on the job to
further develop my skills in order to help SpaceX innovate as efficiently as possible.
Additionally, I have excelled at all types of math and science courses that I have so far come
across, so an analytical job at a place like SpaceX, I feel, is an environment in which I could
thrive.

My high school course experiences that have given me a head start toward my degree in
Chemical Engineering so far have been Advanced Placement Calculus, Physics, Chemistry, and
Microeconomics. I have also taken a semester of C++ and Psychology which I will be able to use
later in college and in my career. Additionally, I have taken 3 online college classes for a total of
11 college credits: Introduction to Film, Ethical Problems, and Principles of Sociology.

I hope to continue striving in the fields of math and science and would be so happy to work for
SpaceX because the company, along with their people and resources, can help me to work at my
best so that I can, in turn, help the company to the best of my ability. I would love and greatly
