ry. Being in the service for more than 5 years is such an achievement. I have le
arned a lot of which some were not being taught at nursing schools such as patie
nce. This patience does not only pertains to patience to the clients but patien
ce to everything from patience to supervisors to patience to delayed salary to p
atience to the working environment.

Salary is always delayed. During the release of the supposed 2 months salary at
PNB, almost 200 health personnel waited for hours in the said venue and was told
to list iur name in the paper provided which supposedly serve as a guide in cal
ling out receivers. The first 20+ listed in the paper were being called out and
given salary but afterwhich the list was not being followed anymore but the basi
s is on who is in the side of the releasing area. This caused frustration to the
waiting nurses. This seems degrading to the part of the nurses who deserve suc
h salary. Its as if we are begging for a money which rightfully belongs to us as
we worked hard for it.
I, for instance waited for hours, but went home at 4:00om. U was told by a colle
auge that a new lists of names were made which will be prioritized the next day
for the releasing of November salary.

I am hoping that the responsible agency and personnel should consider releasing
salaries through ATM accounts. Other regions are doing this. I think it will be
better if we follow the same.
