Where typical database instruments only deal with raw data, dbDiver!-Diagnostics uses an inference engine
and other Artificial Intelligent techniques to generate a parallel diagnostics database. dbDiver!-Diagnostics 's
Executive Information System permits simultaneous analysis of both the quantitative input database and the
parallel diagnostics database.
dbDiver!-Diagnostics follows the relational database model, making this powerful tool familiar and simple to
use.

Expert Tests
Expert tests are effectively Expert System rules of the form
IF(condition), where condition is only based on the results
generated by other rules or tests. This means that, after data
tests translate data into diagnostics, expert tests build a logic
chain of ever-higher intelligence based on those diagnostics.

Tests Evaluation
After defining the data structure and tests, dbDiver!-Diagnostics
runs all tests and it automatically builds a database containing
the diagnostics. dbDiver!-Diagnostics can process data and
expert tests and generate in just seconds large structured
databases of diagnostics to be queried immediately!

Diagnostics View
An expert diagnostic turns TRUE when other diagnostics fill a
particular condition. For example, an expert diagnostic may
signal a simultaneous downturn in sales and profits for five
products. The diagnostics view shows a listing of all expert
diagnostics with their related diagnostics, data and graphics.
Data View
The data view lets the user review the original data in the
database. When any particular data item is selected, dbDiver!-
Diagnostics also shows its associated diagnostics, if available,
and the corresponding messages, charts and graphics.

Query Options
This option should be used to: (a) generate selected EIS screens
for a particular time period or set of products and companies, (b)
select a particular action category to review -such as a particular
person in the organization-, (c) review those diagnostics whose
fuzzy value is larger than a preset value, according to user
preferences and responsibilities.

Expert Print
Several Expert Print options allow users to generate reports
linking selected diagnostics, action categories, data and
memorandums. Users only need to visually select those
diagnostics or categories of their interest, and dbDiver!-
Diagnostics will generate screen or printer reports of those
concepts, and of all memorandums and data linked to them.
