Intensive Care Unit clinical rotation: Banner University Medical Center


o Performed 270 clinical and lab hours learning new procedures and skills for a high-
acuity environment including tracheostomy tube care, wound care, how to maintain
drips, push drugs through an IV and care for chest tubes.
Psychiatric clinical rotation: Palo Verde Behavioral Health
o Underwent 75 clinical hours developing therapeutic communication techniques and
providing physical and emotional support to patients.
Pediatric clinical rotation: Banner University Medical Center
o Performed 135 clinical and lab hours assessing pediatric patients for developmental
abilities, childhood illnesses and immunization schedules.
Med-Surge clinical rotation: Northwest Medical Center
o Devoted 135 clinical and lab hours learning skills including passing oral medications,
basic wound care, NG/OG tube insertion and care, and IV piggyback care. Continued
assessment and monitoring abilities by treating patients in a low-acuity unit.
Obstetrics clinical rotation: Tucson Medical Center
o Completed 75 clinical hours providing care to laboring and postpartum mothers as well
as care to newborns through a comprehensive assessment.
Long-term care clinical rotation: Arizona State Veterans Home
o Underwent 112 clinical and lab hours learning to do a full physical assessment and
