Relationships Knowledge and Attitudes in women of fertile age with tetanus toxoid
immunization Implementation of Housing 1 The Health Clinic West Pontianak

Background : Tetanus Toxoid Immunization (TT) is one of the efforts to protect the people of

Research Purposes : This study aims to determine the relationship of knowledge and attitude of
Eligible Women (WUS) with the implementation of immunization Tetanus Toxoid (TT) prior to
the wedding
Research Methode : This research was cross sectional. Sampling techniques using purposive
sampling. Validity test of this research using Pearson Product Moment Correlation. To test
reliability using Cronbach Alpha. Test for normality using Shapiro Wilk test. Researcher using
contingency coefficient test in this study.
Result : There is a relationship of knowledge to the implementation of immunization Tetanus
Toxoid (TT) p = 0.035 (0.035 <0.05). No association with the attitude of immunization Tetanus
Toxoid (TT) p = 0.177 (0.177> 0.05).
Conclusion : There is a relationship between knowledge and implementation of immunization
Tetanus Toxoid (TT) prior to getting married in the working area of the Religious Affairs Office
Western District of Pontianak in 2016. There is no connection with the attitude of immunization
Tetanus Toxoid (TT)
