Researched and introduced a process to reduce Manganese to levels adhering to

WHO standard;

Observed levels of manganese exceeding WHO drinking water safety standards in

treated water during routine monitoring of plant water quality
Convinced senior management to shut down water treatment plant based on
water quality results and new research regarding effects of exposure to acute
levels of manganese in children.
Researched cost-effective manganese removal solutions and assessed
adaptability to Ghana
Designed manganese ore filter bed and supervised installation and operation of
pilot-scale Manganese Removal Unit.
Collated and analyzed pilot trial data and used data to present senior
management with a more cost effective and efficient solution
Resulting manganese removal process now considered standard manganese
removal technology in WaterHealth Ghana and WaterHealth India. This has
