Research Question: Is diet an essential part of living a healthy lifestyle?

Working Thesis Statement: Diet is an essential part of living a healthy lifestyle and having a

healthy body.

Refined Thesis Statement: Americans do not realize that what is consumed is one of the main

factors that go into having a healthy lifestyle

This article is discussing why people should be focused on their diet when trying to get a

flat stomach. The body cannot make visible abs in the gym if it is not provided with correct foods

that promote weight loss. Just like their are foods that contribute to weight gain, there are also

foods that contribute to weight loss. This article discusses what should be avoided when eating

and what should be incorporated more. Dals article supports my paper because it discusses how

important it is to be cautious of what people eat when trying to work out and working out isnt

the only factor in getting people where they need to be.

This article discusses how to create a balanced meal. It talks about what people should

have on their plate and how much of it should be there. If people have the right amount of

protein, vegetables, and grains they can assume that they are eating a nutritious meal. This is

relevant to my topic because if humans do not follow these guidelines, the body will not be the

best it can be. I will use this article in my paper to describe the type of meals that should be

consumed and which foods are good when trying to get a healthier body.

This article discusses healthy behaviors for dieting. It talks about what mistakes are

made when trying to lose weight. It discusses what is beneficial for the body and what is

beneficial when trying to diet because usually people make wrong assumptions. It also give data

on how much weight is lost when exercising versus how much weight is lost when also eating

healthy. This article also gives examples on what women do wrong when trying to diet. This

article is helpful to my project because it gives facts on what good nutrition should be and how

humans diet will affect how much weight they lose. I will use this article to back up why taking

nutrients out of the bodies diet is bad for weight loss.

This article discusses how the body should not be malnourished when trying to diet. It

gives evidence on how the body will shut down if people take away nutrients it needs. The article

gives examples of what superfoods people should look for and what foods should be avoided at

all possible costs. This is useful to my project because it gives proof that people should not deny

their body of certain things when trying to lose weight . There will be consequences the body

faces when malnourished. I will use this article in my paper to give examples of foods to stay

away from and foods to pay more attention.

This article discusses how dieting is bad for the body. It discusses that when humans

diet, they eat foods that lack important things that we need. When the body lacks nutrients it

leads to health problems. The article also discusses how weight gain is due to diets because

people tend to overeat when cutting out nutrients. This article is helpful because it provides

evidence on why not getting a whole nutritionally balanced meal is bad for maintaining a healthy

body and gives reasons on why eating whole meals with all food groups is beneficial. I will use

this in my paper to give facts on why cutting out foods in our diet is poor when trying to lose

weight because it will lead to health problems.
