Atlantis: Myth or

History?

The legend of Atlantis is the most famous mystery around

the world.
Atlantis, or known as Island of Atlas was a city probably
built about 9000 years ago.
However, many scholars think Plato invented the story of
Atlantis as way to present his philosophical theories. Plato
told the story of Atlantis around 360 B.C.

This famous city may be a place or island which contained

gold, silver and other precious metals. On the other hand
some scientists think Atlantis actually existed.
Nevertheless, until now nobody knows with certain where
Atlantis was. The location of Atlantis could be in Greece,
although others think that could be in Antarctic.
Also scientists think that the destruction of Atlantis might
be a flood or volcanic eruption that had happened about
3600 years ago.

As a conclusion, I think the legend of Atlantis could be

true because some researchers discovered evidences about
this interesting myth.
However, I doubt that this city had had a lot of precious
metals and the opulence described by Plato. As a result,
Im going to research more about this legend because in
my opinion is more fascinating than others.
