About RWP
RWP(UK)Ltd was formed in the spring of 2003. The company
quickly established itself as a strong competitor in an
already dominated market due to the professionalism and
high standards of service offered, along with the experience
and history from within the industry.
In the years since its conception RWP(UK)Ltd has been
further strengthened by the introduction of key personnel,
many from within the industry, with Senior Design, Technical,
Business Development, Cost Control, Contract, and Operation
Executives all joining the company. All adding many years of
experience to an already highly skilled and knowledgeable
team. Having created this stable infrastructure within the UK
RWP(UK)Ltd expanded its operations with the formation of
RWP(IRL)Ltd in 2007 to engage the market and offer a
dedicated service in Ireland.

Our Proactive approach to climate change has led
RWP(UK)Ltd to develop the Clear-flow Siphonic rainwater
outlet.
Siphonic Rainwater systems where first developed in
Scandinavia and were introduced into the UK in the 1980’s
and early 1990’s when rainfall patterns were vastly different
to those we are currently experiencing.
Using our extensive knowledge of the Siphonic industry
RWP(UK)Ltd have developed a high flow capacity Siphonic
rainwater outlet - Clear-flow - which is capable of taking flows
up to 46 L/S per outlet (nearly twice the amount of some
earlier Siphonic outlets). The product has been developed to
work with all modern day construction methods and material
types, allowing the outlet and adjoining Siphonic system to
be used in virtually any new build or refurbishment.

Complete As with all correctly specified and designed siphonic

systems, benefits are gained by the client in the reduction of
rainwater underground drainage runs, simpler co-ordination - due to

systems the horizontal nature of the system - and considerably

reduced pipe sizes when compared to conventional gravity
Siphonic and Gravity Options installations. Due to the clear flow design of the outlet,
debris which could build up around the leaf guards or grills
Rainwater Harvesting & Attenuation causing blockage, are washed away through the Clear-flow

Aintree Racecourse, Liverpool JCB, Uttoxeter

Aintree Race Course:- Home of the Grand National. Siphonic
rainwater drainage to the 2 new grand stands, pipe work concealed
within tubular steel frames from the front of the stands assisting in
improving views of the race course. Gravity rainwater drainage to
the rear stairwells and saddle bar areas.
JCB Uttoxeter:- A 42,000m2 production facility, encompassing all
the construction requirements of this kind of build, the RWP primary
& secondary siphonic drainage installation was an integral part of
this facility and fast track program, maintaining a water tight project
even during the construction period.

Victoria Square, Belfast St. Stephens Development, Hull

Victoria Square, Belfast:- £350m city centre development, creating
a new heart for Belfast. RWP designed, supplied and installed siphonic
and gravity above ground rainwater drainage to all areas of the site,
including green roofs, requiring planning co-ordination with a joint
venture of 2 main contracting companies.
St. Stephens Development, Hull:- Comprises of a glazed serpentine roof
running the full length of the central street. With 32 retail units on two
levels providing 325,000 sq ft with an additional 108,000 sq ft food
superstore. Above the retail units on the north side there is a two level car
park which will provide 1,600 parking spaces. All drained by RWP(UK)Ltd
siphonic drainage, aluminium box gutters & down pipes.

“Rain to Drain & Reclaim”

RWP’s Rainwater Harvesting Systems are offered as a total solution package to your buildings rainwater
drainage and harvesting requirements, in a one stop shop design and supply package. The in-house design
team work together to offer a complete bespoke system, speeding up the design, co-ordination and supply
service. This is complemented with the inclusion of the RWP above ground in-line “Giraffe” leaf filter. The Giraffe
leaf filter is installed above ground either in the vertical or horizontal axis and can be easily maintained within
a clean and dry environment, without the safety concerns arising when accessing manhole filters.

during construction process.
