Introduction
I. For the last few days we have been discussing the importance of content in preparing
a speech, but let's remember it is often not what is said, but how it is said that
makes a speech more memorable.

II. My many years of teaching communication have led me to believe that even the best
crafted speech often goes unnoticed if the speaker's delivery is not up to par.

II. Now I would like to turn your attention to the actual delivery of the speech, for a
speech is not a speech until it is spoken.

III. Delivery includes the vocalics, the speaker's body language and dress, and even
visuals.

Transition: Let's look at each of these to see how they can improve your success.
