Main Lesson Aims (Concepts, Procedures, & Processes):


students will be able to :identify new vocabulary (stone, living things, old ,fossils ,ice ,foot
prints, trapped )
Students will be able to: talk about 4 words have learnt in previous lessons.(sharp teeth,
dinosaur, tail, horn)
Students will be able to: listen the audio and complete the sentences on the learner's book.
Students will be able to: write personality sentence about new vocabulary on small papers.

I will stick 4 note papers have words of vocabulary on the board which they learnt
in previous lesson. (Sharp teeth, dinosaur, tail, horn) and write on the board lets
choose & speak. Then I will choose 4 students one by one to turn up the note paper
then create sentence using the words.
Core (introduce and practice new concepts & procedures): 35

I will display to them 5 of new vocabularies (fossils ,living things , stone , ice ,
footprints ) on the power point one by one with illustrate definition .while I will
show the words on power point one by one I will display to them the flash cards
which have a new vocabulary to repeat and put it on the board by magnet one by
one as well .
After will finish 5 vocabulary, I will illustrate 3 new vocabulary with material to help
students understand vocabulary better if they see the picture .for example, erasers
old and new to illustrate old word, empty paper to create ship paper for made word
. Polystyrene material contains graft, tigers and trees for trapped word.
Listening:
Pre-listening:
I will ask students to open the learners book page 105 to answer question.
I will tell them to read the questions and try to answer.
I will tell them listen carefully and check the answer.
I will tell to them I will play the audio twice.
While listening:
I will play the audio and pause it for each sentence.
I will play the audio again.
Post listening:
I will check answer with them and write the answer on white board.

I will provide the students small paper (exit tickets) to write personality sentence
about new vocabulary(stone, living things, old ,fossils ,ice ,foot prints, trapped )
. Then when they finish they have to put it in the tickets box.
Reflection: at 27/2/2017

I think warm up was good , when I put note paper to do interview for pervious lesson , the
students made sentence for each words I put it .in activity new vocabulary , I use some way to teach
them . It depends on words. Some of them I did on PowerPoint by using pictures and sentences. Some
of them I did by material. (New an eraser and old an eraser), I made cheep of paper for made word. I use
polystyrene material contains graft, tigers and trees to trapped word .I did variety activity to make
students attention and understand meaning the word very clear.in listening activity ,I did model pre
,while ,post listening to give student enough instructions and explain the listening very well. I played
audio twice to help them got answer. I got answered from them. I checked answer and I saw most of
students raise their hand.in the last activity, the student were able to write sentence using new
vocabulary. However, the issue was in management time. I started after 10 of the session because of the
school queue .Ms LaTonya told me dont do lesson in first session.
