ADVANCE SWIMMING

Program: Bachelor of Science in Public Safety

Course Description
The subject covers swimming and life saving strokes, Rescue techniques, and Survival techniques. To prepare the cadets particularly to saving the life of
others in water environment and also to survive themselves.

Course Intended Learning


Outcomes (CILO) At the end of the course, the students should be able to:
1. Discuss the swimming strokes and survival and rescue techniques.
2. Perform the calisthenics and muscle strengthening in swimming
3. Perform swimming strokes, survival and rescue techniques.
4. Promote awareness on how to deal with the different situation in water environment.
5. Improve the personal development in terms of self denial to execute the activities or course with the heart.

Class Policies 1. Student are expected to come on time and in proper PE uniform.
2. Student must have their swimming goggles and appropriate swimming attire.
3. Student who are not behaving properly inside the class or during class in the pool shall be ejected by the instructor.
4. Student must follow the pool rules and regulations at all time.
