What: URIs Student Entertainment Committee, will bring Grammy award winning artist Lil
Wayne to perform on April 23, 2017 at the Thomas M. Ryan Center. Tickets can be purchased at
the memorial union, Ryan center, or the Ryan center website. Student tickets are between $28-
$35 and general public tickets are $40-$50.

Who: SEC holds concerts for anyone one to attend. The priority is for URI students and then to
the public. Lil wayne is a rapper who has won numerous awards. He has won a Grammy ,Soul
Train, BET, VMA, Billboard Music award and more. The URI Student Entertainment Committee
is bringing Lil Wayne and is in charge of bringing entertainers to the university.

Where: The concert will be held at The Thomas M. Ryan Center. 1 Lincoln Almond Plaza,
Kingston RI 02881.

When: Sunday April 9, 2017 at 8 p.m.

Why: Lil wayne is going to be one of this biggest shows at the Ryan Center. Getting a big time
name like Lil Wayne opens the door up for other big named artists to come to URI. said
