We are not able to perceive because we are shrouded in ignorance. The

Step1Transformationfromapersonalitytoaprinciple: 2015(25)

Step2Eliminationof'ChittaVrittis':

The next step involves the elimination of 'Chitta Vrittis'. The Chitta
Vrittisare'senseimpressions',whichpromptsustoanactionmotivatedby
desiresculminatinginmisery.TheChittaVrittisareresponsibleforrebirth.
EvenaVrittiofanicecreamorachocolatecanproducearebirth.Inorderto
transformoneselfintoalightonehastoeliminateallChittaVrittis.

TheChittaVrittisareresponsibleforthesocalled'comingintobeing
or existence'. We exist and come into appearance because of these Vrittis.
ThebodyisakindofagrossVritti,whereasthoughtsaccompaniedbysense
impressions form the subtle Vrittis. When the subtle Vrittis are eliminated,
thebodyhasnoscopeforcomingintobeing.

Step3Thefinalresolution:

Thisisthephasewhereonetransformsintolight.TheGrossbody,
when eliminated of its Vrittis, gets resolved into subtle elements, and the
subtleelementsgetresolvedbackintoitscausalform.Now,thedissolution
ofthecausalforminthelighttakesplace.

After reading this you may feel that it is highly improbable to do so. It
lookslikeafiction,butitiscompletelypossible.Manysaintsinthepasthave
donethat.AndoneparticularsaintisourRamalingaSwamigal,
whodissolvedhimselfintolight.Duringhisfinaldeparture,helocked
himselfinaroomanddisappearedwiththebodyaltogether.
