In the occasional poem Mom, Since You Asked, Ill Tell You Why Im So
Angry, repetition is used to describe how Joshs anger is growing. The text
points out that Josh isnt feeling anything as in his fathers health or him and JBs
relationship. Because dad told us hed be here forever, convey that Josh
basically doesnt want him to leave Earth and its hurting him. Also, he is
frustrated by him and his brother JBs relationship, the text states, Because
Jordan doesnt talk basketball anymore.
In the found-material Article #2 In The Daily News (January 14), the
speaker uses a newspaper and forms into a poem and gives evidence about
Chucks death. The text demonstrates that the great Chuck Bell passed away
which shows in stanza 1, Chuck Bell/ collapsed in a game/ of one-on-one/ with
his son Josh. Depict that he had different problems but did not want to go to a
doctor.
Both the occasional poem and found-material poem talks about Chuck and
his health. The found-material poem talks about when Chuck Bell died and the
occasional poem is Josh explaining why Josh is so angry. Its a lot of similarities
and differences in the two poems, because in the occasional poem it had a
specific pattern which is because in the beginning of each line.
