POLLUTION REDUCTION PLAN

1. PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The Sedibeng Water; Northern Cape is committed to superiority and leadership in shielding the environment. In compliance with the policy, the objectives are to eradicate or
reduce pollution, hazardous waste emissions, and negative impact of pollution on current or future generations and the environment. The purpose of this plan is to enforce
legal compliance and prevent environmental degradation of the Sedibeng Water in Northern Cape. All required standards and legal documents related and applicable to
pollution prevention were consulted to carry out a procedural and informative plan. Method, strategies, observations, recommendations and the type of pollutions were carried
out appropriately.

2. POLLUTION PREVENTION SUPPORT

i. The SHE officer as designated is responsibility for the implementation and monitoring of the pollution reduction plan, and will ensure through Supply Chain
department that there are adequate resources available to enhance the program.

ii. The Supply Chain department shall give support in all purchase order of pollution prevention tools such as cleaning products.

iii. The specific goals of this program is to comply with regulations and standards, such as;

Compliance with the requirements of the Air Pollution Prevention Act, Act 45 of 1965, Environment Conservation Act, Act 73 of 1989, National Water Act,
Act 36 of 1998 and other relevant regulations;

Determine the presence of air, ground- and water pollution; and

Providing recommendations for the prevention of environmental pollution.

3. EMPLOYMENT TRAINING AND INVOLVEMENT

i. All employees such are involved in this program.

ii. The employees shall be provided training in waste reduction and emissions, including spill prevention, good housekeeping, efficient operating practices, etc.

iii. Compile and implement a cleaning program for identified polluted areas.

iv. Employees shall be offered suggestions boxes and SHE committees to provide further suggestions for improvements.
