HOLIDAY HOME WORK 2017-18

CLASS 3rd
ENGLISH :-
Do it in a separate copy :-
1. Practice one page writing daily.
2. Arrange the given words according to alphabetical order
(Parrot, Elephant, Bees, Apple, Crane, Tiger, Zebra, Ant)
3. Paste the pictures of Garden, School, Amusement park and write five
sentences on each.
Revise L-1 and L-2 of Reader and L-1 and L-2 of Grammar (U.T.)

MATHS :-
1. Revise Unit - 1 ,2 (U.T.)
2. Write tables from 2 to 20 in separate copy.
3. Practice 10 sums of addition and 10 sums of subtraction in a separate
copy.

SCIENCE :-
1. Cut out 20 pictures of different plants, animals, and objects and paste them on
two A4 sheets with heading of living and non-living things.
2. Take a few grams and sow them in a small pot water them regularly. Observe
the growth and write three lines on A4 size sheet.
3. Collect three different types of leaves. Paste them on A4 size sheet and label the
structure of leaves.
Revise L-1 and L-2 (U.T.)

SOCIAL SCIENCE :-
1. Learn Ch- 1 ,2 (U.T.)
2. Locate Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal. Indian ocean, Andaman & Nicobar
Island and Lakshadweep Island on Physical map of India and Paste it
on A4 Size Sheet.
3. Write capital of states and union territories A4 Size Sheet.
 4. Draw diagram of solar system, Rotation and Revolution of Earth on
A4 size sheet

MORAL EDUCATION:-
1. Write some different story on Akbar and Birbal in your notebook.

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE:-
1. Cut ten headlines of current affairs from the newspaper and paste on
A4 size sheet

COMPUTER:-
NOTE:-Do all work in Computer Copy
1. Paste the picture of Computer and write its uses.
2. Define the term Hardware and Software and paste their pictures.
3. Learn L-1 & 2 for test. (U.T.)

DRAWING:-
1. Make some furniture like sofa set, chairs, table etc. using waste
materials.
