Just 3 years later the National Science Foundation removed the
restriction on the commercial use of the internet in 1993, which
revealed a crazy amount of new research and communication
methods. As technology advanced and the internet became more
accessible around the world, it was pushed into all ranges of
educations.

This has lead to Institutions also digitalizing their
assessment process, allowing tutors access their work
faster, resulting in quicker feedback for the students.

The third case study I looked into was by a creativity researcher from
(13) http://www.livescience.com/15535-children-creative.html
named Kyung Hee Kim.
Kims article examined the creativity of children using a Torrance test
which measured aspects of creativity using divergent thinking. The
results displayed from thousands of test showed that children that
have more interaction with technology have higher scores in SAT test,
yet worse scores in the Torrance tests.

Conclusion - Positives
Technology has opened countless paths from a research standpoint.
Exchanging files is now infinitely quicker than before with the option of storing
data online and being able to download them anywhere.
Researching has become much more affordable as travel costs are often negated
due to the internet having information about almost every topic.
With education being more interactive and engaging with the addition of
technology, more learning styles are covered resulting in higher grades overall.
A massive range of new design techniques have been developed through the use
of technology.

Conclusion - Negatives
Technology isnt always 100% reliable, files can become corrupt, internet access
may be restricted etc.
The more advanced technology becomes, often means the more difficult it
becomes to use and continuous practice may be needed to stay familiar with the
software.
Physical copies of files have decreased in popularity.
Cheating becomes easier and easier as technology progresses. (However
assessments are closely monitored using external programs.)
Without a doubt, digitalized learning methods have greatly increased the efficiency and
engagement rates of education in ALL learners. Better researching techniques have improved the
quality of research and development.
It has also given people the option to share their work quickly and has opened up the
opportunity to work within groups much easier to generate more creative ideas. receiving
feedback quicker is also massively reduced through digital assessments, providing students more
time to reflect and improve on work, generally resulting in higher grades and more innovation in
design.
