Henkel has made an executive decision to close the Biomedical business in April
2014.
Biomedical was considered non-core in Henkel.
Henkel will no longer manufacture Medical Device Tissue Adhesives.

Formed by the executive management team of Henkel Ireland Biomedical
division to exploit the gap created in the wound care market by the decision of
the Henkel Corporation to close its bio-medical plant in Ireland.

Director of Research and Development Connexicon Medical.
Experience:-
R&D of Adhesives and Sealants division of Henkel for 16 years.
Started in process development and then transitioned to Product development.
Worked on the development of adhesives of many different chemistries including
Cyanoacrylates for the biomedical wound closure market and is inventor on a
number of patents in Henkel.
adaoin is highly respected and valued in Henkel and is known as the person that
gets the job done.
Eadaoin is a driver and influencer and knows how to make the most of her multi-
functional teams.

Martin Brennan (Beng, HDip AppSc, MSc and CQE).
Director of Quality and Regulatory Connexicon Medical.
Experience:-
13 years experience compiling regulatory and quality assurance submissions for
medium and high criticality medical devices.
Previously worked in Analog Devices and Tyco Healthcare.
Proven track record managing Quality, Validation and Regulatory projects,
ensuring continued compliance with US and EU regulations.
High performer and has consistently received performance related awards in his
previous roles.

Managing partner of Mazars the International Accountancy Practice.
Bought and sold more than 50 companies.
Founder of the accountancy practice Chapman Flood and built into one of the
largest national firms in Ireland.
Track record of raising private equity in both the London and Dublin markets.
On leaving the accountancy profession in 2004 David became executive. chairman
of a private Irish Company and increased sales from 500m to 1.3 Billion in a
period of 7 years.
