What is a PSA? Public Service Announcement

A public service announcement (PSA) or public service ad, is a message in the p
ublic interest
disseminated by the media without charge, with the objective of raising awareness, changing p ublic
attitudes and behavior towards a social issue.

Criteria and Questions to include:

1. Must be 2 minutes long minimum

2. Includes creative ideas from all group members
3. Use of iMovie or other movie editing software
4. Easy to hear and understand
5. Well rehearsed and edited to an extent
6. Helps to give enough information to the public in order to raise awareness of
what the organization does.

* Main focus or mission statement of the organization you picked (What
does the organization do?)
*Who does the organization help? Where is it helping people?
*Why should people support this organization?
*How can the public support this organization?
*Why should we be concerned about food supplies and access to food?
