Responsibilities

The position will be responsible for providing support for all Visualization/Collaboration applications in
use within Visteon. Responsibilities include predicting and preventing any issues that may affect
application availability or functionality, ensuring any issues/tickets that do arise are quickly resolved
(within SLA timing), performing root-cause analysis on issues to enable future prevention, assisting in
the development of work processes to ensure the proper and successful use of the applications,

This position is for a database administrator responsible for service, operations and project support for a
broad portfolio of database systems and associated environments. This includes systems supporting
Manufacturing/Plant Floor, Commercial Applications, Enterprise Resource Planning, Line of Business
and Product Development. The operational aspects of this position entail delivery of services and stable
operations and excellent service to business users and IT functions globally.

The scope and duties of this position include:


Operations –
 Provide IT Operations support for distributed database instances
 Take ownership of and support all aspects of database support including associated middleware such
as: IIS, Websphere, iPlanet, OAS (Oracle Application Server)
 Ensure pro-active database monitoring, housekeeping, capacity planning

Supplier Performance Engineer

Responsibilities

 Drive supplier readiness through weekly APQP meetings with suppliers using Visteon Supplier
APQP Management System (VSAMS) process and documentation.
 Assure supplier understanding of PPAP procedures and requirements.
 Report out supplier status through VSAMS, Safe Launch Plans, and vTPS updates.
 Identify, investigate, and resolve supplier technical and/or systemic issues related to new model
