Theme: Walk with God

Reading: When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, "I am the light of the world. Whoever

follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." John 8:12 (NABRE)

Reflection: In life we are given many different scenarios. Some being good and some being

bad. It is easy to follow God when things are going your way, but what makes following God

hard is when things dont go in our favor such as death of a loved one or an injury of a family

member. So if we walk with God always, he will lead us through the darkness. When a family

member passes away it is hard to understand why God took a loved one from our lives, but we

have to trust in God that he has a plan for us. If we walk with God everything will be ok, because

He has a plan for us.

Prayer:

Dear sweet and loving Lord,

I ask of you to walk us all through the path of life in which you bestowed on us.

Lead us through the darkness and the light and let me be a light for you in the world today.

Guide us through our lives keeping a focus on you always and to never stray from you,

Because we know that you are walking beside us always.

Walk with us today, and for the rest of our lives.

In your name we pray, Amen
