For the miracle consists in

tearing ourselves away

from the distraction and
vain concerns of the world
and in this way relentlessly
seizing hold of the kingdom
of heaven within us.

- nikifro, o monge
My friend, if you want to
learn about all this.
Detach yourself from
everything.
From what is senseless,
from what seems
intelligent.
Without detachment
nothing can be learnt.
Experience alone can teach
these things, not talk.

- tefano, o monge

dioses.

Verily this divine illusion of
Mine made up of the
qualities (of Nature) is
difcult to cross over;

those who take refuge in

Me alone cross over this
illusion.

- baghavad gita
He who dwells continually
within his own heart is
detached from the
attractions of this world, for
he lives in the Spirit and
cannot know the desires of
the flesh.

- so didoco
369. Vaca, oh monje, esta
barca (de la vida). Vaciada
por ti, se mover con
celeridad. Eliminando la
avidez y las pasiones,
viajars hacia el Nibbana.

- buda gautama,
dhammapada
um modelo de bem e
de pureza:

o desapego das
coisas mundanas
onde se incluem as

paixes,

as preferncias
e
inclinaes
desapegarmo-nos do
mundo

, tambm,

desapegarmo-nos de
ns
para alcanarmos
o que em ns no eu,

mas

universo:
em mim est suspenso
todo o universo, como
uma enada de prolas
num o.

- baghavad gita
expurgando-nos do self,

encontramos o divino

como o escultor, que

tira
at encontrar a forma que quer
quando se despe um
ser de tudo at ao seu
self,

resta um ser ilimitado

por desejos prprios e
vontades,

livre destes e de si
nunca poder ser Deus
aquele que se
experiencia como si
mesmo
por isso tem de
primeiro perder a vida,
para depois a ganhar
perde-se e ganha-se a
vida no caminho do

desapego
a experincia do
desapego,

do vazio,

a preparao para a
experincia do

reino
Love not the world, neither
the things that are in the
world.
1 John:2:15
For all that is in the world,
the lust of the flesh, and the
lust of the eyes, and the
pride of life, is not of the
Father, but is of the world.
1 John:2:16
And the world passeth
away, and the lust thereof:
but he that doeth the will of
God abideth for ever.
