The 37 Annual Convocation of this University is scheduled to be held on 19.05.2017
(Friday) at Vivekananda Auditorium, College of Engineering, Guindy Campus, Anna University,
Chennai. Research scholars who have successfully completed the Viva-Voce Examination on or
before 12.05.2017 shall only be considered for the award of the degree in this Convocation. Such
Ph.D. scholars are requested to fill-in the details in the online convocation registration form
available at https://cfr.annauniv.edu/scholars/ up to 5.30 P.M on 16.05.2017. Admit cards can
be downloaded from the CFR website for those scholars who will be receiving the degrees IN-
PERSON from 17.05.2017 onwards.

The scholars those who have completed their Viva-Voce examination on or before
12.05.2017 and not yet submitted their A5 thesis should fulfill the following requirements:
1 Original Proceedings of the Viva-Voce Examination (Available under supervisor login in the
CFR website), without any corrections duly signed by all the members of the Oral
Examination Board, corrected A5 thesis and other relevant documents should be submitted to
this office on or before 15.05.2017.
2 Title of the thesis in the Viva-Voce proceedings and cover page of the A5 thesis should be
the same.
3 Month and year in the cover page of A5 thesis shall be the month and year of Viva-Voce
Examination held.
4 Scholars shall be awarded degree under the Faculty of Civil Engineering/ Mechanical
Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/ Information and Communication Engineering/
Technology/ Architecture and Planning/ Science and Humanities/ Management Sciences
based on their qualifying degree.
