It is about a man throwing a BBQ. Loads of people turn up, the host takes interest in a girl
and they have a good time dancing and partying at the BBQ. After everyone leaves them two
stay and they have a few drinks around a fire

Man rings friends to all meet up and skate. Multiple shots on screen of each skater skating
their own route. After they meet up lots of different shots on them skating to the skate park.
When they get to the skate park they have fun and skate. They start to leave 1 by 1 when its
late
Audience Figures
Released in 1996 on YouTube the song I have chosen reached nearly 35,000,000 views. For
2 weeks the single topped the Billboard Hot 100. The song achieved platinum certification in
the US and there were over 1,300,000 units sold. In the UK 200,000 units were sold.
Competitors
One song by a the musician Tupac called I Get Around is in direct competition with me. This
song reached nearly 38,000,000 views, almost 3 million views more than my chosen song.
In 1993 it hit 11th place on the US Billboard Hot 100 and sold 700,000 copies. This song
brings vibe similar to the vibe my song gives off. Both songs are very upbeat and give off a
summer feel to it. Both of these songs were made within a few years of each other. This tells
us that both these songs are in direct competition with each other.
Snoop Dogg is another competitor of mine. He makes music that is the same style (G-Funk)
as the song I have chosen. It has reached over 52,000,000 views on YouTube and has sold
700,000 units. The music video is party themed, similar to how I want mine to be. This
reached 14 million more views than the song I have chosen so I will take some ideas from
the music video and add it to mine to hopefully boost the viewing rates.
Market
The market needs another production like this. It is becoming summertime and by bringing
out a music video that is upbeat is good because its giving off good vibes and making
everyone who listens excited for summer.
This song is quite old so re-releasing it will be good for the market. It is good because of the
fact its an old song that had been released in America and people in the UK may not have
heard of it. This opens up a new audience for this song and by doing this it can increase the
views and money made by the song.
It fits in because it is just becoming summer and this song will work very well to make people
excited for the hot weather to come

In my production there will be no crime or disorder happening during it. I have no intention to
encourage criminal action in my video. The intention of my video is to give out a good
summer vibe to people who listen and to hopefully make them happy. There will not be any
negative concepts.
My production will not be filmed in a public place so I do not need to worry about invading
the publics privacy by filming them without permission. It is being filmed in my own back
garden. This means I can film wherever I want to.
