Schneider Electric declines any res ponsibility for the c ons equenc es:
due to the non respect of the rec ommendations in this manual which make
referenc e to the international regulations in force.
due to the non respect of the instr uctions by the suppliers of cabl es and
connection access ories during installati on and fitti ng operations,
of any possi ble aggressive climatic conditions (humidity, polluti on, etc.) acting in
the immediate environment of the materials that ar e neither suitabl y adapted nor
protected for thes e effects.
This user manual does not list the loc ki ng out procedures that mus t be applied. The
inter ventions de-scribed are carried out on de energized equipment (in the c ourse of
being installed) or locked out (non operati onal).

UNIFLUORC Maintenance
Levels of maintenance
Description Lev els
Operations recommended in the instructions manual installation operation maintenance, carried out by suitably qualified
1
personnel having received training allowing them to intervene whilst respecting the safety rules.
Complex operations, requiring specific expertise and the implementation of support equipment in accordance with Schneider
Electrics procedures. T hese must be carried out by Schneider Electric or by a specialised technician trained by Schneider Electric 2
when starting the procedures, with the appropriate specific equipment.
All preventive and corrective maintenance, all renovation and reconstruction work is carried out by Schneider Electric. 3
Preventive maintenance
Preventiv e Maintenance Frequency Lev els
Recommended operations 6 Years 1 2 3
Verification of the presence and condition of accessories (levers, etc.)
Visual inspection of the exterior (cleanliness, absence of oxidation, etc.)
Cleaning of external elements, with a clean, dry cloth
Verification of the positioning of the status indicators (open and closed)
Verification of the functioning of the mechanical control mechanism by making several
manoeuvres
Visual surveillance of the general appearance of connections
Corrective maintenance
Corrective Maintenance Lev els
Replacements or modifications 1 2 3
Replacement of the three fuses
Replacement of a signal lamp assembly
Befor e proc eeding to carry out the operations for removing/installing the parts composing the UNIFLUORC switc hgear, be sur e that the
voltage was cut out to the primar y circuit and to the auxiliary one.
See the corres ponding chapter in the installation manual for the charac teristics of the fus es.
The T1 functi on meets the IEC 6224-105 requirements; particularl y, when whatever fuse intervenes the circuit breaker automaticall y
opens. In this situation it is not possibl e to reclos e it until the blown fuse is replac ed. For reliability reasons , replac ement of all of the thr ee
fuses is recommended.

Identification of materials
For all orders for spare parts, it is nec essar y to enclos e the equipment
characteristics form.
Storage conditions
The c omponents should be stored away from dust, humi dity or the s un. In order to
facilitate the search, they must be marked by the Schneider Electric referenc e
number.
Certain c omponents are fragile, they should preferably be stored in their original
pac kaging.
