Both Mr. Marcus and Town of Atlantic Beach Police Chief ‘Timothy Taylor were on site while the review took place, | was briefed late yesterday on the conditions our Deputy Fire Chiefs observed. In short, the ‘area as currently configured is deemed tobe extremely dangerous for those who wil be in attendance at any events this Memorial Day weekend, Few to no emergency ext options exist from the tent area. Also, significant fre risks are present within the tent. Itis the recommendation of Horry County Fire and Rescue thatthe venue not be used unt allsafety concerns are addressed.
