Subject: Psychoanalytical text

Dear Dr. Henning Paikin:

I am researcher on History of Psychology at National University of San Luis, Argentina. As you

know, psychoanalysis has had an enormous impact in Argentine psychology.

At the same time, I'm interested in such topics like scientific communication, review journal's
process and so on. In that sense, I am very interested in your paper From analytic dialogue to
published text, that was published in 1995 in Scandiniavian Psychoanalytic Review, 18 (2), pp.
176-191. I have been informed about it in Psychoanalytical Abstracts, but I couldn't read it. Last
week I have travelled to Buenos Aires, but, unfortunally, I could not find the journal in any library
(in fact, in our country, public or private libraries are lacking of basic books and journals)

Please, I would appreciate, if you are so kind to send me a copy of your paper.
In any case, thank you very much in advance.

Sincerely yours,

Dr. Hugo Klappenbach

Dear Prof. Dr. Maurice Schouten:

I am researcher on History of Psychology at National University of San Luis, Argentina and

National Council of Scientific and Technical Research (CONICET).

Now, I'm interested in the old topic on fragmentation and unity in Psychology. Particularly, I am
researching about the criticts to Reductionism, Operationalism and Physicalism.
In that sense, I am very interested in your papers:, on which I read the abstracts in PsycInfo:
1) Schouten, M. K. D. (1999). Disconnecting the concepts of consciousness: the virtues of
interdisciplinarity. New Ideas in Psychology, 17 (3), 291-308.

2) Schouten, M. K. D. & de Jong, H. L. (1999). Reduction, elimination, and levels: The

case of the LTP-learning link. Philosophical Psychology, 12 (3), 237-262.

3) Schouten, M. K. D., & Looren de Jong, H. (1998). Defusing eliminative materialism:

Reference and revision. Philosophical Psychology, 11(4), 489-509.

Unfortunally, the Journals are not in any library in my country and taking in account current
economic crisis in Argentina I can neither purchase the journals nor propose my library to do it.

So, I would appreciate very much, if you are so kind to send me a copy of your papers.

Thank you for your kind attention.

Sincerely yours,

Dr. Hugo Klappenbach
