Battalion, Topeka, KS. Currently working administratively at the Battalion level to
assist Troop Program Unit (TPU) Soldiers with their Medical Readiness.
Inputting Soldiers medical documentation into the Electronic Line of Duty (e-
LOD) user program and creating medical vouchers to attend dental, vision, and
physical appointments. Assess the Medical Protection System (MEDPROS) for
each Soldiers medical status. Assist with the submission of temporary and
permanent profile request. Communicate with Battalion Commander and
Brigade S-3 over medical status of the unit and down trace units as needed.
Maintain over 30 hours of CEUs and performing correspondence courses. BLS
current.

07/05/2010-10/13/2014 Charge Nurse Alternate and Staff Nurse, Emergency Room, Irwin Army
Community Hospital, Fort Riley. Charge Nurse/Staff Nurse of a twelve bed
Emergency Room that provides care to Active-Duty soldiers and their
dependents. Performed charge nurse duties, provides guidance and lead three
to five Registered Nurses and Medics during a twelve hour night shift.
Collaborates with physicians, physicians assistants, nurse practitioners, and
other medical professionals to ensure cost-effective high quality health care is
provided to each patient. Provide nightly room assignments, coordinate transfers
with out-lying facilities for continued patient care, and triage patience according
to acuity. Maintain standards and protocols according to The Joint Commissions
regulations. Forty hours per week.

10/14/2008-07/04/2010 Clinical Nurse, Consolidated Troop Medical Clinic, Irwin Army Community
