Tornado

Functions of real Phenomena

A tornado is a violently rotating column of air that rotates while in contact with both the
surface of the Earth and a cumulonimbus cloud. They are often referred to as twisters.
Tornadoes come in many shapes and sizes, but they are typically in the form of a visible
condensation funnel, whose narrow end touches the earth and is often encircled by a
cloud of debris and dust.

A tornado is a very fast wind vortex, usually about 20 feet wide, extending downward
from a cloud. The wind speeds in a tornado are among the fastest wind speeds
measured. Function in Geogebra shows that = ax+b. While a represent rotation of
wind and b represent movement of the wind.

Investigate this function using sliders

Basically this function will use angles in sliders. Tornado is a phenomenon that wind
rotating both the surface of the Earth and a cumulonimbus cloud. Therefore, the wind
rotate itself of 360 degrees. Its moving from right to left or vice versa.

Observations and interpretation.

From my observation, I believe that there is a relationship between the rotation, velocity
and the movement of the wind. These three variables are will determine the rotation,
velocity and movement of the wind in tornado.

What is the relationship between the rotation and movement of the tornado?
