FAKTOR-FAKTOR PENYEBAB ANAK PUTUS SEKOLAH
DI KELURAHAN KWALA BEKALA KECAMATAN MEDAN JOHOR
KOTA MEDAN

Skripsi ini terdiri dari 6 Bab, 95 halaman, 9 Tabel, dan 5 Lampiran

Pendidikan merupakan bagian dari hak dasar anak yang wajib dipenuhi.
Putus sekolah merupakan suatu permasalahan sosial dimana tidak terpenuhinya
hak-hak anak untuk mendapatkan pendidikan yang layak. Anak putus sekolah
telah terjadi dimana-mana baik itu dikota-kota kecil maupun kota besar seperti
yang terjadi Kelurahan Kwala Bekala Kecamatan Medan Johor Kota Medan.
Terjadinya anak putus sekolah yang disebabkan oleh berbagai macam faktor yang
mendorong mereka untuk memutuskan untuk putus sekolah.
Penelitian ini di lakukan di Kelurahan Kwala bekala Kecamatan Medan
Johor Kota Medan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif, dimana
informan dalam penelitian ini adalah anak umur 11 sampai 18 tahun yang telah
putus sekolah yaitu sebanyak 4 orang dan informan tambahan dalam penelitian ini
adalah orangtua dari anak putus sekolah yaitu sebanyak 2 orang. Teknik
pengumpulan data dengan studi kepustakaan, studi lapangan, kemudian dianalisi
oleh peneliti yang dijelaskan secara kualitatif, sehingga pada akhirnya dapat
ditarik kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian tersebut.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa yang menjadi faktor penyebab anak
putus sekolah di Kelurahan Kwala Bekala Kecmatan Medan Johor Kota Medan
disebabkan oleh kurangnya minat anak sekolah/keinginan sendiri dan bukan hanya
itu yang menyebabkan anak putus sekolah seperti faktor ekonomi keluarga, faktor
sosial keluarga, perhatian orangtua, pengaruh teman sekolah, pengaruh teman
sebaya dan ketersediaan sumber lokal.

Education is part of the basic rights of children that must be
filled.Dropping out of school is a social problems when there fulfill the rights of
children to get good quality education.Children dropping out of school has
happened everywhere whether it is dikota-kota small and a big city like occurring
urban village kwala bekala kecamatan medan johor of the city of medan.The
children dropping out of school caused by various factors who leave their to
decide to dropping out of school.
This research do. in kelurahan kwala bekala sub-district medan johor of
the city of medan .The research is research descriptive , where informants in this
research was six- 11 and 18 years who dropped out of school with four people and
informants additional in this research was parents from children dropping out of
school with 2 people .Technique data collection to the study literature , field
studies , then dianalisi by researchers described qualitatively , so in the end a
conclusion can be drawn from the research .
The research results show that that becomes the causes of high school
dropouts in kelurahan kwala bekala kecmatan medan johor of the city of medan
caused by a lack of interest of the school kids / own wishes and not only that
which causes high school dropouts as economic factors the family , social factors
the family , of parental attention , the influence of school friends , the influence of
their peers and the availability of a source of local .
