Learning Objectives

The course will enable the students to

1. To understand the basic concepts and definitions used in Mathematics and all
Engineering branches.
2. To understand the need, historical development ,derivations and applications of the basic
laws of Mathematics.
3. To develop ability to apply these laws to perform calculations and solve problems relating
to processes in all the engineering subjects.
4. To be able to distinguish properties of real termlogy used in all Engineering subjects.
5. To develop an ability to explore the entire knowledge and understand the existing
limitations of Mathematics.
Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this course, the student will be able to:

1. Identify and use Mathematics and understand their use.

2. State and illustrate the matrix methods in all Engineering subjects.
3. Identify and explain the concepts of multiple integral and their application in Engineering
Subjects.
4. Apply the calculus method in engineering subjects.
5. Use of the vector calculus in all engineering subjects.
