Ebola found in Monkeys near Washington D.

There has been an Ebola outbreak in the town of Reston, Virginia in December, 1989 in
the Primate Quarantine Unit. There hasn't been any confirmed human victims till this point. The
public is safe till now as long as you haven't come in close contact with any people that worked
in the Primate Quarantine Unit.

Ebola Zaire is a virus that is spread mainly by animals and insects. The virus can cause severe
bleeding, organ failure, and can lead to death. About 90 percent of people die from this virus if
infected.

The team currently working on stopping the spread of this disease is called USAMRIID. They
are a military team that specializes in studying highly hazardous viruses at Biosafety level 4.

The monkeys that were that were brought from the Philippines became infected with this virus.
Other monkeys in other rooms became sick and died too which meant that the virus was
becoming airborne.

The outbreak of Ebola Zaire Virus first struck Yu G . Then we saw the Ebola Virus in a small
village that infected people with dirty needles at medical clinics that caused an outbreak.

There is no vaccine for the Ebola Virus and has a high mortality rate. The army is killing all the
virus and taking all the precautions to prevent the disease from spreading. The swat team was
called in to euthanize all the monkeys that are infected with the virus to prevent further
contaminations.
