Chapter 3

METHOLOGY OF RESEARCH AND SOURCE OF DATA

This chapter deals with the presentation of research method setting of the

study subject of the study procedure of the study instrumentation and statistical

treatment of the study.

Research Method

This study used the descriptive method of research which involved the

analysis and interpretation of data to determine the study of religion.

Descriptive method was design to gather information about the existing condition

.the principal aim of using the method is to described the nature of the situation,

as it exist as the same time of the study and to explore the cause of the particular

phenomena.

The method was used because the study involves collection of data and

testing of hypothesis in order to answer question concerning the current status of

the study the main purpose of research design is to reduce the data into

something interpretable so that the relation of the research problem can be

studied and tested through the questionnaire prepared by the researchers.

Subject of the Study

The respondents answered the questionnaire based on the personal

profile in terms of their age, sex, civil status, educational attainment and their

perception with regards to leadership, religion, and organizational culture.

We propose to stay the most simple religion which is actually known, to

make an analysis and to attempt an explanation of it.

Setting of the Study

The religious United Kingdom population appears to be depends upon the

question that is asked, but broadly speaking there are four different ways of

measuring religiosity: Based on loose cultural affiliation; Based on belonging to

a religion, or Identifying as religious; Based on believing in the continents of a

particular religion; And based on levels of religious practice (whether self-

reported or observed).

The humanist society of Scotland commissioned a separate poll asking

the Scottish census question, What religion/religious denomination or body do

you belong to? In response, 42% of the adult population in Scotland said none.

When asked Are you religious? 56% of the same sample said they were not

and only 35% said they were.
