Dear Diary,
Well, it is 4th June and the first day of my 7-day stay in London. The journey by plane from Gdansk
didnt take very long about two hours and fifteen minutes and we landed at 5.20pm. We took a taxi
to the Savoy Hotel in the Strand. The taxi ride was very expensive! I cant believe Dad paid 55 for a
13km drive!
Im so excited about tomorrow! In the morning my friend, Albin, my brother, Cyryl, and I are going to
get up at 10 oclock and have a big breakfast in the hotel restaurant at 10.30. Then were going to
visit (1) ____________________ . Its going to be a clear day, so the view will be amazing. The top is
135 metres up, so well be able to see about 40km! It takes 30 minutes to go around once, but we
want to go round two times, so well be on it for about an hour!
After that well buy bus tickets because we want to go to (2) ____________________ . Ill take my
guide book, so we wont get lost. I should take some sun cream too, so I dont burn in the sun. Albin
and I hope to see the Queen while were there! Dad says thats silly the newspaper says shes
travelling to Scotland today.
Later in the day were going on a guided tour its cheap. Adults pay 10 and students pay 7.50.
The tour starts at 2pm and finishes at 4pm. Well go past the Houses of Parliament and stop to take
photos of the most famous clock in the world, (3) ____________________ . Then well get back on
the bus and go to (4) ____________________ maybe Ill see the Prime Minister while Im there!
And thats where the tour ends.
