B-Kaleidoscope BSD Newsletter, Summer Issue, 2017

Its a great moment of pride for Business Studies Department that the editorial team
is back with a revamped edition of our newsletter Kaleidoscope. We, in Business
Studies Department, are on the move and would like to welcome some of the ini-
tiatives and activities that are happening within our department.
I am pleased to know that the new issue of business newsletter, B-Kaleidoscope,
has aptly portrayed events, activities and diverse talent of our students and faculty
members.
Our faculty members come from rich and elite backgrounds, and bring with them
HOD the expertise, knowledge and skills which help the students to be successfully en-
M essage gaged in education for employment and career advancement for global citizenship.
The current issue presents a wide range of topics of varied interest to both the staff
and the students.
I am confident that the upcoming issues will continue to provide updates on departmental activities and
events with which are associated. I extend my heartiest appreciation to all lecturers and students who have
taken keen interest and have positively contributed and enhanced the richness of the newsletter.

Dear Readers,
A thought manifested into reality is indeed an exciting feeling. This edition of B-Kaleido-
scope, the newsletter of business department is the manifestation of a long cherished thought
and had its roots in determination and persuasion. Communication is essential for institu-
tions development. We hope this attempt will reinforce and allow better awareness, improved
interaction and integration amongst us as a team. This newsletter is intended to appreciate and
acknowledge the tiny deeds that we all are doing and many times goes unnoticed. This issue sets
Mrs. Laly Antoney the beginning of our new publication schedule- two release in a year- Summer issue and a winter
issue. We have tried to produce this publication with more content in overall. This newsletter will
highlight number of academically relevant articles and also some insights and opinions on some of the issues faced by Oman
and also portray expressions of human feelings and desires. To achieve our vision and mission, we have just started our jour-
ney and miles and miles to go before we reach our destination. We would be glad to hear from you with your valuable input
