HANG TUAH PEKANBARU HEALTH SCHOOL BACHELOR DEGREE OF NURSING SCIENCE PROGRAM EFFECT COMPARATION OF WILLIAM’S FLEXION WITH ACUPRESSURE TO REDUCE LOW BACK PAIN DURING PREGNANCY
This undergraduate thesis examines the effect of William's flexion and acupressure in reducing low back pain intensity in pregnant women in their third trimester. The study divided 30 pregnant women experiencing low back pain into two experimental groups. One group received William's flexion treatment while the other received acupressure treatment. Results showed the average pain intensity was significantly lower after treatment for both groups, indicating that both William's flexion and acupressure can effectively reduce low back pain intensity in late-stage pregnancy. The results of this study can be used to inform nursing interventions for managing low back pain during the third trimester.

ABSTRACT
Pregnancy brings the changes of anatomy and physiology in woman body,
following the growth of fetus and stomach that growing, woman feels low back pain. Purpose of this study to Reduce pain intensity that is woman felt in trimesters III. The design was quasi experimental with 30 samples were divide into experimental group I and experimental group 2. The samples were woman in trimesters in III pregnancy who felt low back pain in clinic of Taman Sari I. Analysis of data using chi square and Kolmogorov - Smirnov, whereas pain intensity used dependent t test and independent significantly t-test. The results showed an average difference in pain intensity of low back pain before and after Williams flexion in the experimental group 1withp value 0.00 < (0.05).An average difference in pain intensity of low back pain before and after acupressure in the experimental group 2 with value 0.00 < (0.05). The results of this research can be used as nursing interventions to reduction low back pain intensity in trimesters III in pregnancy. .
