SUMMER INTERNSHIP/WORK EXPERIENCE

Pluss Advanced Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Gurgaon Jul 2016 - Dec 2016

I worked as a Research and Development intern under Dr. Devendra Jain, Director of Pluss Advanced Technologies (Gurgaon) wherein we aimed at
preparing a novel form stable phase change material (PCM) based on exfoliated Vermiculite and Fatty Acids. PCMs are one of the major products
produced by Pluss along with a variety of industry standard Polymers. They are capable of maintaining the temperature of its surrounding nearly constant
by absorbing and releasing large amount of heat in the form of Latent energy of fusion and vaporisation.

CloodOn Musica Pvt. Ltd., Bengaluru May 2015 - Jul 2015

Worked as Marketing Intern with CloodOn which is technical centre for managing day to day working of Shankar Mahadevan Music Academy (SMA),
Bengaluru. I primarily worked on production of various marketing video for the SMA such as Student training videos, teacher training videos, etc. I also
compiled their complete journey video for their annual cultural event Sangam 2015. These videos can be found on their youtube channel. The technical
softwares which i primarily used were Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop and Final Cut Pro.

QuintilesIMS Jan 2017 - Till Present

I'm currently working as an intern with the Primary Intelligence team at IMS Gurgaon. The nature of my work includes client targeted primary and
secondary market research. My ongoing projects include making of a market sales portfolio regarding the use of Medical Marijuana in various US States
that have legalised after an extensive research in this field. I'm also simultaneously working on preparation of a report regarding the current medical
treatment scenarios in India for autoimmune diseases like Multiple Sclerosis and Rheumatoid Arthritis.

PROJECTS
Critically analyse and study the properties of Chitosan & its role as a heterogenous catalyst in various asymmetric C Jan 2015 - Jul 2015
-X bond formation.

Chitosan is a biopolymer with a very effective catalytic behaviors along with a great affinity towards metal ions. I worked on this study oriented project along
with Prof. Mainak Banerjee, Asst. Prof in Chemistry Department at BITS Pilani Goa Campus. I did an exhaustive literary survey on the subject and gained
valuable insight into the field of heterogenous catalysis using Chitosan as a primary material.

Computational study on the behavior of the surface of hydrophilic liquids on interaction with another medium. Aug 2015 - Dec 2015

I did this design oriented project along with Prof. K.P.Jayadevan, Asst. Prof in Chemistry Department at BITS Pilani Goa Campus. Under this project we did
various MATLAB simulation to study the relation between the microscopic structure of various surfaces and contact angles formed by hydrophilic liquids to
understand the degree of wettability in those cases.

POSITION OF RESPONSIBILITY
Panel Coordinator at Quark 2015 Apr 2014 - Feb 2015

Planned and organised 3 unique socially oriented competitions namely Bhagirath, My Green Idea and Design for Disaster under the initiative panel under
Quark 2015. I managed the registrations of 120 students and was also the core member of the organising committee. Also, helped in associating with
various corporate organisations for panel sponsorship. (Eg. Wind Sim)
Project Head ( Vidya-Helpline) at Nirmaan Organisation Goa Chapter Aug 2012 - May 2015

Joined the NGO Nirmaan Organisation and worked with them for 3 years. Founding member for VHL-Goa to provide career counselling in various
government schools in Goa and providing a helpline for doubt clearance, personalized counselling and career mapping for the students of 9th and 10th
standard.Worked as team lead for 2 years and counselled over 400 students so far.

ACHIEVEMENTS AND AWARDS

2013
Secured 3rd prize at an event called My Green Idea (One of the competitions organised during BITS Goa tech fest-Quark 2014) for
designing an eco-friendly home exterior for energy saving purposes.
 2014
Secured 1st prize at Bhagirath, an event which aimed at solving social problems through technologies. We designed a economic friendly
mobile classroom using a kiosk technology and and a minivan which could penetrate the remote areas on India where the education hasn't
reached as of now.
