Rationale I chose my Check Your Progress Chapter Two
because this chapter was about business ethics. In
order to meet this core competency I had to be
able to explain the nature of business ethics. Also,
I had to be able to explain and understand the
difference between legal and illegal issues. In the
check your progress I had to answer questions that
had to do with all this information.
Knowledge To complete this check your progress I had to
know and understand business ethics. This chapter
was about responsibility and business ethics. I had
to learn the role of ethics in business and the
honestly and fairness. I also had to know about
discrimination and how to treat everyone the same
and how it effects the workforce.
Skills I had a few different skills to complete this task. I
had to be able to read this chapter and understand
it completely. I did this by reading the chapter by
myself, reading the slides, and taking notes. After I
had an understanding of the chapter, I had to be
able to go through the chapter and find where the
information was. Once I found all the information
that needed to be found I had to make sure that I
could summarize and change the answers into my
own words. I did this work, so that it could be
clear that I understood the information.
Growth and Improvement If I had to do this again I would make sure that I
Statement had a more in depth answers to the questions.
Sometimes I rush and dont give my best effort in
the work that I do/did. I think I did answer the
question enough but I could have done more.
