NOMISRI CHADARAM

Its fascinating how the today's technology grew from a computer thats the size of a huge
room to a computer that fits in our palm and pockets. There is no doubt of having them smaller
soon in near future. During my childhood, I always thought of how the cell phones would work?
How would TVs work? How did the technology start changing so rapidly? How could people
make an artificial limb that would work equaling to a human hand? How are robotic arms made
that would build a complicated product with very simple guidance? And How a watch could
count the steps and read out heartbeat (beats per second).
During my childhood, I dreamt about how the future technology would be. So, I decided
to focus my career on engineering. I completed my schooling from St. Joseph Girls High School
and came out with 76%. I had very good teachers. They taught me subjects more practically. I
spent most of my school days in laboratories. My interest towards this developing technologies
made me choose MPC (Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry) as a minor after my schooling. I
completed my intermediate education from Visakha Jr. College with 91.7%. I am graduated
BE+ME (Bachelors + Masters) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering as my major in
my Bachelors from Andhra Universities, one of the top 30 colleges in INDIA.
I spent all my bachelors with wires, cables, boards, switches, and chips programming and
re-programming. My interest in robotics makes me learn microprocessor coding and make a line
follower robot on my own. I broke my own barriers and learned further phases of robotics also.
During my bachelor's, I did summer intern at RINL (Rastreeya Ispath Nigam Limited) one of the
biggest of the steel plants in Asia. During my intern, I provided support and basic
troubleshooting operations, investigate, gather and analyze data for specially assigned and
recurring tasks. Analyze and determine the engineering specifications. I also did a project
Underground Cable Sizing. I also did a study project on the power generation and power
distribution at a thermal power plant in RINL. I also did a project for the generation of electrical
power using BioMass energy at Varam Power Projects Pvt. Ltd. Apart from my projects, I am a
good team leader and a good team player. I lead all my projects successfully. I am good at
managing things and working on cross-functional teams. During my free time, I spend most of
the time on watching YouTube videos about how the latest technology is being made and used.
I also presented a paper on Power System Faults in Saarang11, a technical symposium
organized by IIT (Indian Institute of Technology), Madras, one of the most esteemed institutions
in the world. I also presented a paper on Road Power Generator in Vajra2K13, organized by
Pydah Engineering College.
After my Graduate education, I got placed in WIPRO TECHNOLOGIES. Its been a year
since I started working with them. I am working at the overseas department, under APPLE
project for development and testing and Full material disclosure, where execution of test scripts
on both old and new sides environments is carried out. I find bugs and document the
performance of all the internal applications on iOS platform. I used Selenium, GIT LAB and
JENKINS tools to do my assigned tasks. I also gave many KT sessions for my team members.
Gadgets have constantly interested me. I am mindful of ideas of microprocessors and got
more enthused when I learned about microchips. That is the point of which I understood how the
two fields could be converged alongside the hypothesis. My interests in logic design, Database

management systems, and internet technologies made borrow books from the friends of
computers department and learn them apart from my course curriculum. My opportunity to have
some of the professors at my university made me co-relate both the EEE and CS knowledge. I
strongly believe that a software engineer must be like a chameleon, changing and getting used to
the new and upcoming softwares. Apart from my chase to my goals, I also spent some time for
community welfare and development. I am involved in many social welfare activities of different
social welfare organizations and was always an active member in my contributions.
Computer Science plays a key role today. As the technology is growing faster and faster,
so as my interest in computers. So, my interest in becoming an efficient engineer is also growing
rapidly. So, I wanted to peruse my MASTERS in COMPUTER SCIENCE in one of the worlds
most leading countries. United Nations is one of the most technologically developed countries.
So, I would like to pursue my masters in CS here.
I have gone through the coursework of your university. Particularly some courses like
advanced software development, computer networks, database management systems, web
architecture, web applications programming and software engineering are more into the
improvement of current and future technologies, which made me more enthused to apply for this
university.
I strongly believe that I am motivated, discipline, aptitude, and attitude required for my
masters degree. If I am given an opportunity to study here, it would be beneficial for me because
gaining an International degree and international exposure along with stronger career path will
allow me to reach my career goals. This will lead me to possible career opportunities in research
and development of new technologies in India and their leading companies. I will make a
positive contribution to your University.
