Contingency Plan
What are your plans for if something goes wrong? What back
up actors, locations and equipment do you have?
Contingency Plan are always very important for any project
because you need to make sure that you have backups for
everything because if anything were to go wrong, then you can
use your other method to complete your project.
The first plan if something were to go wrong is equipment, having multiply
equipment for any project is essentially, but by having backups for the
equipments that you will be using, it means that if any cameras or tripods
were to break or malfunction then we can use other equipment that will help
us finish the filming stage in our project. Sam and I are working together in this
assignment. Therefore we have multiply cameras, tripods and lenses which
means we can use any of these equipments if any were to break or stop
working mid filming.
The weather is unpredictable which means we need to make sure that we
choose the right days to film depending on the weather. We will overcome
this be checking the weather each day as we get closer to the day we want
to film. This means we can track the weather each day because it will end up
changing. If we see that the weather is not suitable to film or isnt the right
weather for our shots, then we will need to film another day. As we will be
checking the weather each day coming up to the day we want to film, we
will also film on the days where the weather is at its best. This is so we dont
waste any filming time.
If our actors fail to show up when needed, I have decided I will step in to act
in that role. We have chosen reliable actors for the production as we have
worked with them on past projects and have not run into any issues; if all goes
well, neither will we during this production. To ensure actors show up when
required, we will make forms so they know when and where to be when it's
time to shoot.
