This year in art I learned about the art elements and design principles.

The projects I did were a

zentangle team project, textured hand, charcoal drawing, aboriginal art, micrography, illuminated
manuscript, block print, portrait, optical hand, and a pastel painting. The Zentangle project was
about working as a group and using lines and color to show the elements. The textured hand
showed us how to work with texture and lines. The charcoal drawing was to teach us how to
work with 3d forms and the use of charcoal. The aboriginal art project was to teach us actual
texture. Micrography was using the field of micrography. The illuminated manuscript had us
using colors and texture. The block print was to show the field of lino block print. The portrait
project had us learning how to make project, drawing what we see not know. The optical hand
was a beginners guide to optical illusions. The pastel painting was my final, using color to paint
a creek. I was able to perform moderately. I never excelled at any of the projects, but I also never
completely failed any of the projects. I never had any strengths when it came to art, my greatest
weakness was being lazy and not being able to come up with ideas. I never had an inspiration for
the way I did art. I see myself doing a few things surrounding art for fun, however, I dont see
myself using art a lot or getting into the medium of art.
