Alfalah Securities (Pvt.) Limited (Dec 8th, 2015 to date)

As an intern I joined Research Department of Alfalah Securities (Pvt.) Limited. I had been tasked to develop
understanding of Oil Marketing Sector of Pakistan and build financial model of Shell Pakistan Limited in order to
enhance the coverage of the Research Department. I completed my task and wrote a detail report about Shell Pakistan
as part of my research work. Now a day I am working on Cement and pharmaceutical sector of Pakistan and wrote a
comprehensive report on Pharmaceutical sector of Pakistan

Fauji Foundation Head Office, Fin & Investment Division, Islamabad (July 1st 2014 to Nov 30th 2015)
I worked in the capacity of a trainee in the Investment Division of Fauji Foundation, a conglomerate holding assets
worth PKR260bn. Key task included analysis of new investment projects being considered by the group and included,
was not limited to, market research, financial modelling, and analysis.
Being part of team in finance division, I carried out different tasks including Oracle finance (ERP), payable and
receivable skills, Bank reconciliation and tax adjustments with in accounting cycle in both cash contr

Performed financial analysis of different companies in MBA course related to finance. I also did a project related
to investment in different companies in KSE (Ratio Analysis of different companies and checked their investment
volume in stock exchange).
Did a brief project how a textile mill can do CSR, in which I gave future plan to engage society with the business
(chose Kohinoor Textile Mill for this purpose and suggested them some CSR techniques to improve their CSR
department).
Took part in business idea competition and prepared a full business plan, which included both financial plan and
the market plan along with the financial projection and market analysis of the business.
A complete project of archery academy under the subject of Project Management.
Performed different marketing projects related New Product Development.

Thesis work
IMPACT OF UNCERTAINTY ON FIRM LEVEL INVESTMENT: EVIDENCE FROM PAKISTAN TEXTILE
SECTOR. It was regarding uncertainty (Independent variable) on firm level, market level and how macroeconomic
level effects the investment (dependent variable) in overall industry. To check its impact I used different statistical
models, correlation between variables and extracted result and made necessary suggestions at the end.
