Project Title: Automated Health Assessment through Sequential Tongue Image Analysis

PROGRESS REPORT

The proponents device was evaluated by an acupuncturist and have been advice to add more
parameters for more accurate results.

The proponents have started in remodeling the device to improve the accuracy and easier
testing. Also, the results of the device has been change to more specific analysis of the human
tongue. Since the Philippine Medical Industry has been practicing western medicine more than
the eastern medicine the proponents will try to incorporate what the eastern have diagnosed to
what the western have in their theories.
For the deployment of the project the proponents plan to visit a dentist in Quezon City and
an EENT in Cavite and Malabon this week. The proponents have finished their papers and they
made the draft for the chapters that need the results and discussions.
